Parental Obligation: Cub Scouting is a parent-son activity.  You are expected to be at all den meetings with your son unless other arrangements have been agreed to with your den leader and then we ask that you be at the majority of those meetings.  Pack meetings are a family affair and it is when your son will be recognized for achievements. We ask that parents make every attempt to be present for pack meetings. Tiger Cub parents, we really stress this with you. For the Tiger program to work, you need to be there.

Fund Raising: We only hold one fund raising event each year, and that is selling Boy Scout Popcorn in the fall.

Uniform: We require only a scout shirt, neckerchief and slide as our scout uniform. Your son can wear more of the uniform (cap, pants, and socks) if he wishes, but this is the minimum we require.  Uniforms can be purchased at the Scout Shop in St. Charles or West Chicago.  Hours of operation and direction can be found on the TFC website http://www.threefirescouncil.org/ .

Alternatively, you can also purchase a uniform and other scout merchandise online at ScoutStuff.org . You will need to purchase a Cub Scout shirt, council strip, Pack numbers (231), and a world scouting patch, and a Den number patch.
